Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3JI3UNGKPKEUL This sled is actually a great snow sled. We had friends take it on a scout sledding activity, and it was the best snow sled on the hill. It goes very fast, so be careful. It's very solidly built and shouldn't ever break. We liked the fact that it absorbs the bumps and comes with a nice tow rope, which makes it easy to drag up the hill. It is perhaps a little heavy; but if you remove the special ice trays (that come stored inside the sled and are used just for sledding on grass), it's actually not bad at all.
Sledding on grass is pretty wild. The special Icer ice trays will fit inside your side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, but you are apt to spill a little water in the process of getting them into the freezer. Adult involvement will be needed for that and for getting the frozen ice blocks out of their containers and attached to the sled -- which is relatively easy if you follow the instructions. We found that you need a pretty steep hill for it to really work well. Once you've made a couple runs and the ice is melting and the grass starts to get a little wet, this thing will really go. Be careful as it can start to spin or turn sideways as you slide down on grass. (The older kids actually thought that made it even more fun). We were able to make quite a few runs before the ice completely melted down, but if you plan on using it in warm weather, I'd recommend getting an extra set of Icer ice trays to extend the sledding time.
